The Pumas made the trip to a Liphook school to play Haslemere aiming to put last weeks loss & therefore ending their winning run behind them.
Both sides played some neat patterns in the opening exchanges but it was the Pumas who looked the better side and eventually took the lead after they put a bit of pressure on Haslemere's defence when Xander converted a penalty flick with impressive confidence.
Haslemere started to get on top in the game but the Pumas defended really well as a unit to limit them to very little and we continued to look a threat ourselves but just lacked some composure with the final pass.
With around 10 minutes left the floodlights failed which bought an abrupt end to proceedings but as the majority of the game was concluded the result was a 1-0 win to the Pumas which was a very good win considering the strength of the opposition.
MOM - Colin Falla for stepping in to help out and putting in a strong performance at the back
DOD - Liam for playing football a lot in the 1st half after watching Pompey earlier in the day (special mention must go to Haslemere floodlights too!)
