Portsmouth Pumas had a morning to forget as they welcomed Chichester Chipmunks for the early game of the day.
We actually started the game OK but Chichester soon got on top and were using the ball well. The opening goal arrived via a suspicious hint of football from the Chichester player but the goal was given. This hit the Pumas hard and a second goal soon followed.
The hammer blow was their third goal on the stroke of half time via an unfortunate own goal from Jabba which meant we went in 3-0 down at the break.
Sammy delivered his team talk asking the team to use the ball better and not go long all the time and in fairness it was a better half from the team with some nice patterns of play which we did not see in the first half.
However eventually legs were tired and the fitness of the young Chichester side shone through.
After some late goals Chichester ran out deserved 6-0 winners but lots of lessons learned for the Pumas side to take into future games.
MOTM - Josh for his good composure on the ball out from the back
DOTD - Liam for missing the target with one of our only shots on goal and for not finding Pete for the tap in when driving into the D
