The Pumas 1st league game of the season was away to Alton & had some promising aspects, despite having a depleted back line with Nathan Khan & Dan Whitcher filling in at center backs. Pumas had a very good first 20 minutes racing in to a 2-0 lead with both goals being scored by Pete W after good work by Bahy on the right of midfield, Pete could of had a few more too, it turned out that we could of done with them
Pumas got a bit overconfident & started to run the ball a bit too much & it was at a breakdown that Alton managed to sneak a goal of their own to make it 2-1 at half time.

We got a bit dragged down with our play in the second half & despite huffing & puffing couldn't score another goal that our play had deserved, Alton put quite a bit of pressure on us in the last ten minutes with 5/6 short corners, unfortunately they scored from the last of these with only three minutes left to make it 2-2.

DoD: Could have gone to anybody really; Phinn, Fin, Ed, Pete, Harry but it was Nathan Khan for his not so sterling work at CB (a bit harsh)
