Seeing all the children taking great pride in receiving the awards they’ve worked so hard all season for made me very happy. Well done everybody, thoroughly deserved!

The weather failed to dampen the celebrations for the most improved team players and the star players of the year.

Additionally over 80 members went through the Stix & Kix awards completing skills challenges that feature in the modern hockey game.

The AGM ran very smoothly with the junior section in a healthy position to transition to the new Portsmouth Hockey Club, and continue to impact youngsters into their early hockey experiences. We are most proud of the many juniors who are now integrating into the senior Women & Mens Saturday league teams.

A huge thank you to the outgoing treasurer Fred Teunissen and outgoing Membership secretary Helen Boswell for their fantastic contribution as well as welcoming Lucy Sinnott and Sarah Whitcher onto the committee.

As ever a massive thank you to all the junior committee, helpers, coaches and managers that have made such a positive impact through the year as well as those that aided the day running so smoothly.
