On Sunday the 11th of October, the U16 girls played their first match as a team against Gosport. Having only trained together once the girls put up an incredibly strong fight but sadly lost 6-1. Poppy Searle stepped in as goalie and played a fantastic game despite the hard opposition. Florence De Marco scored a fantastic goal from a short corner which was very well deserved.
Overall, the girls all played tremendously well and were able to take many positive things away from the experience.
It was a brilliant game to start of the season.
