Mens 4's continue their winning ways

After a half term break the mens 4th team continued their winning way with a 3-1 win away at Petersfield. On a wet and windy day Portsmouth struggled to get a foot hold in the game and came under lots of early pressure but the defence held strong. Midway through the first half Portsmouth's man of the match Jonny Brewster popped up at the back post and slotted home the opener. Portsmouth found their rhythm and doubled there lead through Will Duffy to take a 2-0 halftime lead. Portsmouth got a 3rd in the second half through Caleb Rowland but as Portsmouth legs tired Petersfield piled on the pressure and got a consolation goal with 5 minutes left.
