Along with the new league layout, England Hockey have brought forward a new Game Management System (GMS) to support the administration of the hockey clubs.

As a club, all members; whether you play, coach, umpire or are part of the committee, MUST register to the GMS BEFORE the start of the season. This is to ensure players and team officials can be added to electronic match sheets.

This includes both players from the adult leagues and junior leagues.

The process of player sign up is slightly different for those over 18 and under 18.

Players over 18:

Go to https://gms.englandhockey.co.uk/ and click 'REGISTER'.
Select 'PLAYER', add your details and select your club (Portsmouth Hockey Club).
You will then get a code sent to you so you can proceed.
Complete your full profile.
Wait for the approval from the club.

Players under 18 MUST be registered by a parent:

Go to https://gms.englandhockey.co.uk/ and click 'REGISTER'.
Select 'PARENT', add your details and select your club (Portsmouth Hockey Club).
You will then get a code so you can proceed.
Complete your full profile including the details of your player/s.
Wait for the approval from the club.

(Note: when players are 18, full profiles can be created and transferred to player)

Anyone with a supporting role (coach, manager or physio, etc.) should sign up using the player sign up information above.

Please ensure registration is done as soon as possible to ensure an easy start to the season.
